NISSWA — Lorraine A. Wallentine, former longtime Nisswa resident, died peacefully on Feb. 25, 2012 in Hastings, Minn.

Lorraine was born Jan. 25, 1921, in Melrose, Minn., to Henry and Bernadine (Schoenberg) Stalboerger. She married Howard Wallentine April 7, 1956. They formerly operated the Totem Pole gift shop in Nisswa together. She was a lifetime member of the Nisswa Women’s Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Howard; and brother Donald.

Lorraine is survived by her daughter Susan (Mark) Rotty of Woodbury; two grandchildren Jonathan and Elizabeth Rotty; and a sister-in-law Lorraine Stalboerger.

The Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2012, at the Regina Chapel, 1175 Nininger Rd., Hastings, with visitation one hour prior to funeral. Interment will be held Saturday in Greenwood Cemetery, Nisswa, Minn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Regina Foundation/Sr. Tabitha Memory Unit.
