Margaret "Marge" Grell

Margaret (Marge) Grell, of East Gull Lake, passed away on March 18, 2017 at her home.

Marge was born in Bowlus, MN on February 6, 1944 to Joseph and Helen (Sobania) Lampert. She was the fifth of nine children, attended Royalton High School and after graduating she married her high school sweetheart, John Grell, August 22, 1962. The couple started a family and moved to Nisswa, MN to raise three children. Marge was a stay home mom that loved and dedicated her time to the family. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, snowmobiling, fishing, duck hunting, going for walks, crocheting, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She later worked outside of the home at the Floor to Ceiling Store where she formally retired at the age of 62.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, John Grell of East Gull Lake, MN, her children, Michael Grell of East Gull Lake, MN, David (Heather) Grell of Nisswa, MN and Sarah (Chad) Rasinski of Brainerd, MN. In addition she will be missed by three grandchildren, Andrew Grell, Jack Grell and Ryan Heinlen; her brothers and sisters, Al Lampert of Avon, MN, Clarence (Lois) Lampert of Bowlus, MN, Marian Schlichting of Rice, MN, Jerome (Annette) Lampert of Bowlus, MN Rita Court of Sartell, MN, Robert (Elaine) Lampert of Holdingford, MN and Cathy (Hank Velasquez) Lampert of Sauk Rapids, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tony Lampert.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am Friday, March 24th at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11:00 am and a light luncheon will immediately follow after the service.
