McGREGOR — Dolores “DeDe” Turnock, 72, of McGregor, died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born June 3, 1939, in Roseville, Mich., to Leonard S. and Joy I. (Hamilton) Miller. She graduated from Crosby High School. DeDe was united in marriage to Harold Turnock on July 27, 1957, in Crosby. She enjoyed camping, dancing, and bowling. She was a former member of the McGregor Lions Club.

DeDe is survived by her husband, Harold, of Crosby; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joleen (John) Herbert, of Sheridan, Wyo., Beverly (Brad) Tesch, of McGregor, Sherrie (Randy) Vikla, of McGregor; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith (Michelle) Turnock, of Brainerd; eight grandchildren,  Json (Amber), Chad, Dawn, Hilary, Jamie, Eric, Jessica and Emily; three great-grandchildren, Teerza, Jazmyn, Izayah; two sisters and brother-in-law, Gwen Caird, of Deep Haven, Gail (Jim) Ruschmeier, of Aitkin; one brother and sister-in-law, Harlan (Chris) Miller, of Aitkin; many other relatives and friends.

A gathering time will be from 2-4 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011, at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.
