Public's help sought to locate missing man

Marilyn Gloria Borgstrom

Marilyn Gloria Borgstrom, age 69, went to meet her Savior on August 13, 2011.

She was born March 4, 1942, to Gilbert and Myrtle Tessmer in Graceville. Marilyn loved her Lord; she served and honored him to the very best of her ability. Beyond loving the Lord Marilyn devoted her life to enriching the lives of many, many children. She was a teacher her whole life.  She taught first grade in Circle Pines and St. Paul for many years. Marilyn also volunteered her time at the Native American Schools in NE Arizona and NW New Mexico.  She lived each day to the fullest, and enjoyed every minute of life.

 Marilyn is survived by her son, Matthew TAI, Joon-Young Borgstrom of Baxter; niece, Anne Marsilje-Meyers (Mark Meyers) of Kalamazoo, Mich.; nephew,  Thomas  (Veronica) Marsilje III of  San Diego, Calif.; and great nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, LaVerna Marsilje; and brother, Gary Tessmer.

A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held, Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Friends may call one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager.

Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church of Brainerd, Good Samaritan Society Home Care and Hospice or Camp Confidence.
