Former longtime Brainerd resident Alfred Lefebvre, 86, of Plymouth, Wis., passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Alfred was born July 23, 1925, in France to the late Emil and Elsa (Milbrook) Lefebvre. While in France, he served with the British Army during the allied invasion. On May 4, 1946, he married Simone Delos in Wasquehal, France. The couple, together with their three oldest children, immigrated to the United States in 1952.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, Simone, Alfred is survived by five children and their spouses, sons, Jean-Luc Lefebvre, of Plymouth, Wis., Jacques Lefebvre, of Houston, Dominique Lefebvre, of Winona, Minn., daughters, Martine Ueeck, of Commerce Mich., Brigitte Alderman, of Plymouth, Minn.; one sister, Alice (Harlan) Blankenship, of Delano, Minn.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Per Alfred’s wishes, private family services have taken place.
A memorial fund has been established in his name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
