Katherine ‘Kat’ A. Thomas
AITKIN — Katherine “Kat” Ann Thomas, 50, of Aitkin, died Feb. 13, 2012, at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis. She was born June 30, 1961, in Philadelphia to Sharon (Wolfe) and Jack Noller. She was a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and worked in the diamond jewelry business in California until health issues forced her to move back to Minnesota. She worked for many wonderful seasonal residence in the Bay Lake area. She was a master gardener and was active with the Cuyuna Rock and Mineral Society. Kat touched the lives of many and was loved by thousands. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Kat is survived by her husband, Ken Wasserzieher Jr.; parents, Ken and Sharon Wasserzieher Sr.; father, Jack Noller, of Klamath Falls, Ore.; brother and sister-in-law, Mike (Carolyn) Noller, of Klamath Falls, Ore.; sister, Mary Noller, of Culver City, Calif.; two stepbrothers, Steven (Patti) Wasserzieher, of Deerwood, and Brian (Lyn) Wasserzieher, of Deerwood; loving dog, Molly, and cat, Dozer; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial celebration will be in the spring/summer of 2012. A notice will be published at that time.
