IRONTON — Michael LaVern Hummel, age 59, of Ironton, died on April 14, 2012, at St. Cloud Hospital. Mike was born on July 21, 1952, in Crosby to George and Marjorie (Ridlon) Hummel.

He is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Michael G. Hummel and Paul S. Hummel, both of Ironton, and Jim (Tammi) Anderson, of Moose Lake; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sasha (Eric) Burgstaler, of Pequot Lakes, and Tine (Pat) Glenn, of Redding, Calif.; five brothers and sisters-in law, Clifford Orcutt, of Crosby, William Banister, of Outing, Tim (Diane) Hummel, of Crosby, Gene (Ginny) Hummel, of Embarrass, and Jim Wakefield, of Barrows; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents; and two brothers, Kenny Orcutt and Duane Banister.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
