Gloria G. Fuller
ARDEN HILLS — Mrs. Gloria G. Fuller, Nee: Novotny, of Arden Hills, Minn. Survived by husband of 46 years, Edmund Lee Fuller; her brother, Thomas Novotny and his wife, Barbara and their three sons, Mark, Michael and Matthew and their families. Preceded in death by her parents, Pauline and Archie Novotny. Loved her family with many nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces and cousins. Enjoyed traveling, especially to NYC, London, Paris, and the former Fuller’s Lodge on Whitefish Lake in northern Minnesota, ocean cruises on board the QE2 and vacations in West Palm Beach, Fla. Graduate of St. Agnes High School in St. Paul. Worked at Brown and Bigelow, then at MSI Insurance for 25 years where she has many past friends and acquaintances. She never took a sick day at MSI. Gloria was always sunny and cheerful and she never missed a Sunday Mass until her recent illness. She had natural musical talent on piano and a lovely voice. Gloria’s father died when she was 14 years old. When her grandfather died, they had to move to a rental place. They moved all their belongings on a coaster wagon to a leaky rental property. She vowed to have security and a home of her own at that time and when she graduated from high school and got her first job at Brown and Bigelow, she saved up for a down payment, took out a mortgage loan and bought a house at age 21. She and her mother contracted and built three new houses after that. Over the years, she built five more new houses with her husband, Edmund. She was a loving and supportive wife for all their many years of marriage. “She will be missed by all who knew her.” No visitation or Mass will be held according to her wishes. There will be a private viewing for the family with a blessing and interment on their lot at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements are with Roseville Memorial Chapel, (651) 631-2727.
