James Rudolph Creger passed away Aug. 19, 2012. He was born May 3, 1934, in Brainerd, Minn. Jim graduated from Brainerd High School in the class of 1952, served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Dorothea; brother, Robert; and first wife, Dolores (Toby) Grenier. He is survived by brother, Donald; sister, Emma Jane Hoffman; nieces and nephews; stepchildren from his second marriage; and many friends.

Jim supported the Minnesota Democratic Farm Labor Party and loved his dog, Dixie. A memorial service was held. He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd next to his beloved first wife, Toby.
