NISSWA — Caroline Webster, 86, of Nisswa, Minn., died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012. Born on Feb. 24, 1926, Caroline married John R. Webster in 1948. Their family moved to Glen Ellyn, Ill., in 1956 and in 1990, Caroline and “Jack” retired to Crosslake, Minn. Caroline had an adventurous spirit and a quick wit, and she loved spending time in nature. In her lifetime, she was a volunteer at both the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Ill., and the Uppgaard Wildlife Management Area in the Whitefish Area of MN. Caroline will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Caroline is survived by her four children, Denise (Jim) Templeton, of Shoreview, Minn., Susan Pronk, of Rochester, Minn., Bruce (Georgianna) Webster, of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Brian Webster, of Minneapolis; four grandchildren, Adam (Jess) Templeton, Tyler Pronk, Andrea Templeton, and Tracey (Matthew) Hulstein; one great-granddaughter, Sophie Pronk; one sister, Lorraine Kummer, of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister, Evelyn Stromberg; and her brother, Maynard Erickson.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to donor’s choice. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi, Minn.

A Celebration of Life open house will be on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Headwaters room at Grandview Lodge, Nisswa, Minn.
