Ronald A. Danzl
Ronald Allen Danzl, age 77, of Brainerd, died on Sept. 28, 2012, at Diamond Willow in Baxter.
He was born on June 9, 1935, in St. Cloud to Harold and Helen (Neuens) Danzl. He married Virginia Nesges on May 11, 1961. Ron was a strong man who worked extremely hard to take care of his family. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and just being at the lake.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ginny; daughters, Shelley (Jeff) Schmaltz, of Brainerd, Kathleen (Jeff) Kollmann, of St. Cloud, Sherry (Marv) Schmaltz, of Deerwood, and Deanna (Steve) Christenson, of Brainerd; son, Mark (Kris) Danzl, of Aitkin; stepdaughter, Debra (Scott) King, of Wales, Wis.; stepson, Terry (Jo) Nolan, of Minneapolis; two sisters, Mary Lee (Harry) Fruetel, of Frazier Park, Calif., and Carol Brown, of Fresno, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his canine pal, Daisy.
Preceding him in death are his parents; two stepchildren, Vicky Nolan and Cindy Gapinski; two sisters, Ethel Randall and Margie Cook.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Diamond Willow (Link Area) in Baxter.
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
