Over the past 10 years, Juanita had become a “snow bird” spending the winters with her daughter and son-in-law in Palm Desert, Calif. Juanita was an excellent cook; everyone enjoyed her wild game & Walleye dishes. Also known, for her wonderful baked goods, she kept friends and family across the country supplied with special treats year-around. She was a passionate animal lover; dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and all wild creatures often were given a fresh bowl of water, and some food or seed in her backyard. Juanita also loved her gardening and always had beautiful petunias & hydrangeas to brighten the block. She will be missed by her children, Doug (Bonnie), of Maple Plain, and Debra (Doug2) Vollmer, of Palm Desert, Calif.; sisters, Jean Bliss, of Brainerd and Twila Danzig, of Los Angeles; brother/sister-in-law, Carlos and Inez Lind, of Baxter; and sisters-in-law, Mary Nyquist, of Cambridge, Minn., and Bernice Lind, of Brainerd; as well as many nieces and nephews.
