U.S. judge restores Endangered Species Act protections to Great Lakes gray wolves

COLD SPRING — Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, Minn., for Virginia Mae Moselle, age 90, who died Tuesday at the Assumption Home in Cold Spring. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m. Saturday morning.

Virginia was born in Ironwood, Mich., to Joseph and Mildred (Ellis) Richards. She married Myron J. Moselle on Feb. 4, 1943, in Milwaukee. Virginia was a homemaker and worked as a paraprofessional at Cold Spring Elementary for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge and being with family and friends. Virginia especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Kathie (Gary) Phillips, of Brainerd, Shirl (John) Currie, of Faribault, Rick Moselle, of Cold Spring; sister, Shirley (George) Cisewski, of Ironwood, Mich.; brother, Jack (Patricia) Richards, of Barron, Wis.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Myron; one sister; and four brothers.
