PLYMOUTH, Wis. — Former long time Brainerd resident Simone Lefebvre, 87, of Plymouth, Wis., passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Simone was born Jan. 30, 1925, in France to the late Georges and Victoria (Favreau) Delos. On May 4, 1946, she married Alfred Lefebvre in Wasquehal, France. The couple, together with their three oldest children, immigrated to the United States in 1952.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Alfred, in 2011; her parents; and her sister, Jacqueline Wastyn.
Simone is survived by five children and their spouses: sons, Jean-Luc Lefebvre, of Plymouth, Wis., Jacques Lefebvre, of Houston, Dominique Lefebvre, of Winona, Minn., daughters, Martine Ueeck, of Commerce, Mich., Brigitte Alderman, of Plymouth, Minn.; one sister-in-law, Alice (Harlan) Blankenship, of Delano, Minn.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Per Simone’s wishes, private family services have taken place.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
