Gallup poll shows voters not better off than in 2008
A majority of swing-state voters are not better off than they were four years ago, according to a recent Gallup poll. Gallup reports that 56 percent of voters in swing states — Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina (site of the 2012 Democrat convention), Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin — are not better off than they were in 2008.
Gallup conducted the survey of 970 registered voters from Aug. 6-13.
