Blagojevich all shook up
WASHINGTON —When he was indicted, Rod Blagojevich quoted Kipling . After his impeachment, he quoted Tennyson. And Monday, on the day he was convicted on 17 corruption-related counts, the former governor of Illinois quoted Elvis.
“My hands are shaky and my knees are weak,” he told reporters as he left his home for the courthouse to hear the verdict. “I can’t seem to stand on my own two feet.”
