Reader Opinion: Grace and peace from God

"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain..." Psalm 127:1a

My American Patriot's Bible tells of the "Bible of the Revolution" and how important America's Congress thought of the Bible. After England cut its import of Bibles in 1777, Congress resolved to import 20,000 Bible from other countries. Why? Congress determined that "the use of the Bible is so universal and its importance so great." In 1781, Congress gave permission for the publishing of the first Bible in America. Now, in some countries, the government bans the Bible!

I don't want to write words like a machine gun, just putting words out there and missing the elusive targets so many others can address on the issues of the day. I'm an American and, like many yet today, I'm Christian. At one time American and Christian were synonymous. Right now, this country is like living in a broken home, mom or dad are missing and so is love and discipline, both are needed for wholesome bringing up. Amen?

In a broken home, you're not 100 percent certain of your identity, you are uncertain of a lot of things about yourself. But like Good Samaritan's motto, "In Christ, everyone is someone." and you know who you are and that's so missing today.

Jesus said, in a promise, "I am come that they (you) might have life and that they (you) might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

"Taste and see that the Lord is good." Psalm 34:8a

"Jesus is wanting to invite you to be His." Rev 3:20 But the warning is, deny Jesus before men (be ashamed) and he'll deny you before God.

No Jesus, no peace. Know Jesus, know peace.

Grace and peace from God our father and he Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
