Reader Opinion: Have a great fair
"From that time many of his disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the 12, 'Do you also want to go away?' But Simon Peter answered Him, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.'" John 6:66-68
The fair is upon us and I would like to say for the last time why I'm happy there's no beer garden. For some families, this is the only time, almost, they do something together. A beer garden would take time and money from them! I do understand the board wanting the money of a beer garden. Call the county and tell them you appreciate the fair and please fund it better! Thanks to everyone who does that.
I have to laugh a little about Al Gore. We should all be in row boats by now, not waiting for his next movie. So, to help out Al, I've thought of some sub titles for his movies. For his first one, "We're Dead!" For his latest movie, "No, Really, We're Dead!" (This weather just doesn't agree with me.)
Anyway, God is good, America is still pretty terror free, praise Jesus. Keep praying for the old girl!
Just a word about grace. Grace is forgiveness, it's given to whoever asks for it. No sin is beyond it, no sin! If you put a stamp on two letters, one is going across town, the other to Alaska, do you have to put extra postage on the one going to Alaska? No, and Jesus paid your sin in full, no extra postage! Amen. It's there for the taking, just ask.
Have a great fair!
