Reader Opinion: We need proof
Rep. Josh Heintzeman stated we should all support the Line 3 Replacement Project because "we're faced with a threat on economic well-being of our region." His bold statement comes with no proof, as do all the numbers put forward concerning financial impact. Rep. Heintzeman goes on to say that the project will pump in more than $2 billion. He also says it will bring in 6,500 local jobs. Where are these projections coming from? Did Rep. Heintzeman research these numbers? If he did not do the research then he needs to report where he got those figures from. If our elected officials want the public to support them, then they need to do so with facts that have references. I call that proof.
