Reader Opinion: Keep the faith
"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave you." Eph. 4:32.
Bergdahl. A name that will be remembered, not pleasantly, for a very long time. In my anger, I thought Army Col. Jeffery Nance should also be dishonorably discharged also for not discharging the verdict he should have under the circumstances! Where is the justice for Sgt. Mark Allen, a shell of the man he use to be and others hurt and a dog killed searching for Bergdahl? Then, to top it off, the Taliban got five militants back in exchange for his release. Please tell me this was all only a nightmare?
Who's to blame in the end? Bergdahl should never have been reinstated to the service after washing out of the Coast Guard! I just hope and pray the verdict wasn't political and a slap at Trump. If the military has gone politically correct, we are in serious trouble! This has set up a precedence others can use in the future. What a mess!
Then, to keep us off our equilibrium, we have the church shooting in Texas. God help them! You almost see the pieces coming together to seek a one world order to deal with all that's happening these days. USA, not UN, but God said there would be a leader of the world, antichrist, and it's like being ushered in soon.
Back to Bergdahl, Jesus died for him like he did for us. Bergdahl sounds like a victim of circumstances. My heart breaks for Mark Allen and all those others affected by this situation, the Texas victims all need prayer to live and forgive. Amen.
Keep the faith! Amen.
