McCollough should be proud of his family

I would like to thank Terry McCollough for his many years of service to the lakes area as publisher of the Brainerd Dispatch. I know that I, for one, have always looked forward to the paper whether in the actual paper form or now on-line. Though some of us may moan and groan about things in the paper, we are the same folks standing beside the mailbox everyday awaiting our copy and if it doesn't show up on time, we are peeved. An example of the high value of the printed word! Any local newspaper is the local lifeline to many and Terry should be rightly proud of his and his family's journalistic service to this wonderful part of Minnesota. Hopefully, Terry's golf swing will improve with the added time and attention he now has at hand.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
