Open Forum: The heroes of Tucson

I’m so glad to see the heroes of Tucson get their acclaim, each one deserves it! What I hate to see is a true hero go wrong. What a difference the last two sheriff’s terms started. Dahl finally had to deal with meth after his first term, Klang wasn’t so fortunate. In Eric’s first two years he cleaned up the meth mess and unfortunately, people forget just what an awesome job he did do.

As the father of an 11-year-old, I appreciate and am so grateful for all you’ve done and continue to do to serve and protect the people of Crow Wing County. I hope, Mr. Dahl, you realize what an asset you have in Eric being in your department. God bless you both and all the other “everyday” heroes serving us in all areas. Amen. You are all heroes and we’re in your debt.
