Out of the 11 Republicans running for the presidency, I have yet to hear one plan that didn’t allow the rich to get richer and put more burden on the middle class and poor. They all want to protect the wealthy and powerful at any cost. This hasn’t worked for the past decade.

No one wants to take all the money from the rich and distribute it to the poor. And we are not all envious of the rich. I don’t need millions of dollars a year to live. I just expect fairness from our representatives. The people who don’t pay taxes now are facing a bigger hardship than those who are left with $20 million after taxes. Those that are most fortunate could show a little less greed. And our members of Congress could show a little restraint in siding with their mega-contributors and lobbyists. For 1 or 2 percent of the population to control most of the wealth and the government is obscene.
