Open Forum: What does a corporation stand for?

A report recently stated that General Motors makes about $2,600 profit on a car sold in the U.S.A. That’s not bad especially considering that the American taxpayer saved GM’s bacon. The article further said GM now sold more cars in China than the U.S.A., but only made $500 on each vehicle.

Logic would ask why?

When GM starts importing Chinese made cars and selling them here it will make even more profit at the expense of American jobs. So once again your business and especially your political leadership sold your country down the river.

Who would have believed 30 years ago that “what’s good for GM is good for America” would become a symbol of what is wrong with our country, not right!
