Council is out of touch by not maintaining streets

It’s time to change our city government, Our city council is out of touch with the people, they spend for foolishness and do not provide the services to our city.

All weekend the streets have remained slippery like skating rinks, many vehicles and property have been damaged. Yes we have tight budgets but they must not stop maintaining the streets. What will it take, a death or tragic accident to fix this problem? Police, fire, streets, sewer and water and lights, that is what the charter provides us.They should get rid of city planners and other unnecessary positions to save money. Never should plowing or sanding be shorted. Get rid of clerks and high paid managers and make the council do its job to supervise this city, no more Minnesota cities organizations, etc.

What ever happened to bond issues so the people can decide where the large amounts of money are spent. Do not cut our services;

The unions run city government. We must take back our employees and place them back under city control so that they may be worked as before. The city must control the hours they work. If this does not happen get new councilmen.

The city leaves itself wide open to lawsuits, we have Tort laws in Minnesota established to prevent cities from deviating from normal services, etc.
