Laws should apply to all

We already have a law against insider trading. Martha Stewart went to jail for it.  Why doesn’t Congress enforce the law already established? And if they are trying to improve their dismal approval rating, why don’t they introduce a bill giving up their in-house doctor, barber, etc. at taxpayers’ expense. And one forbidding them from taking bribes and being influenced by lobbyists. Maybe they could prohibit taxpayer money being spent on those here illegally. And base their yearly salary increases on performance and not just their mere existence. How about just living by the same laws made for those they represent.  And punishing those who break the rules with more than just a verbal reprimand? The time is over for them to make laws for us that don’t apply to them.
