Obama's wasteful 'windmills'

Out in the Seattle area the wind-farms of hundreds of windmills are shut down. Seems they’re producing too much energy for the grid to absorb. Wind powered electricity cannot be stored — it must go directly into the grid.

When they’re shut down the land owners on whose land these windmills are placed do not receive their “rent” for use of the land on which the turbines/windmills are located.

But, alas, the Obama Administration will reimburse these landowners for their loss of “rent”. They then pass on this cost to the utility which did not receive the electricity.

End result?? Homeowners/businesses in the area — they get to pay for electricity they never got to receive.

More change we can do without.
