A happy endorsing convention
On March 24, 2012, 10A and 10B, District 8 had their House and Senate endorsing convention at the Crosby-Ironton High School.
With the new district lines which have broadened our area to Aitkin, Garrison, parts of McGregor, Crosby, Ironton, Deerwood and parts of Brainerd had a reunion type atmosphere to meet and greet and plan for our DFL future.
In 10A, Rep. John Ward was endorsed again with great enthusiasm.
In 10B, Joe Radinovich, was well received and encouraged by the delegates with a rousing endorsement. It was noted that Joe grew up in the Crosby area and graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School.
Senate District 10’s new lines afford Taylor Stevenson a great opportunity to become our next senator. Stevenson showed up with a very supportive volunteer group.
A quote from Taylor was “we will take up issues of importance, without throwing dirt, as when you throw dirt you lose ground.”
It is a pleasure to write about things that are positive.
We believe the new redistricting will unite our efforts for the future to bring better governing in our area and state.
