The Little Red Engine

Everyone has probably heard about the little red engine that “could.” Well there’s a new little red engine and its starting to pick up steam. Republicans throughout Minnesota are getting enthused about the promise of lower taxes and less government intervention into our lives and businesses. Local precinct caucuses brought out plenty of people who are looking for a change. County and district conventions provided us with the candidates who will work for the people in the northern half of Minnesota.

Dale Lueck is running for the House seat that Carolyn McElfatrick currently holds. We’re sorry to see her go but she will remember us as the new house member from District 5b. Dale is a Navy vet, former county commissioner, cattle rancher and a red blooded Minnesotan and Conservative.

Carrie Ruud is our candidate for state Senate District 10. She is Conservative, articulate, smart, the former mayor of Breezy Point and a former state senator.

Chris Kellett of Brainerd is the candidate for Senate District 10a . She is Conservative, energetic, has excellent ideas, business skills and is a small business owner.

Each of these candidates offers a clear distinction in philosophy and direction from the Democrat’s Candidates. They also share a common and keen interest in revitalizing our economy. Each of these Republican candidates offer new ideas, new energy and a new direction for cities, counties and every taxpaying resident in Minnesota.

Remember how the little red engine kept saying ’I think I can, I think I can.”

By November the little red engine will be the Big Red Machine and will be saying we knew we could, we knew we could. Get on board before it leaves the station without you.
