Cravaack's record speaks for itself

Summer may be winding down, but election season is already in full swing. So far, we’ve seen candidates at every level working to get their message out to voters across the district. Fortunately when it comes to our U.S. Congressman, Chip Cravaack not only has a strong message, but he also has a solid record to back up what he said he’d do when first running for office two years ago, including standing up against overregulation by government, burdensome taxes on the middle class, and a federal takeover of our health care system.

Since taking office in January 2011, Rep. Cravaack has covered the district talking with small business owners, families, local officials, and many others on how he can best represent the district in Washington, even if it means occasionally bucking his party. This authentic representation is what helps him stand out. He understands that individuals and families should be able to make decisions on their own instead of mandates by the government. He also understands that promises made to seniors must be upheld, which is why he backed the bipartisan plan to save Medicare. These are exactly the things we want in a representative, and we’re lucky to have Rep. Cravaack.
