Magnuson in Ward 3

Brainerd has too often made headlines for fights between councilmembers, scandals and bad leadership.

We need councilpeople of integrity who are not seeking office to settle grudges or advance their personal agendas.

This fall I have been fortunate to get to know John Magnuson. John is a person of character and integrity who truly cares about Brainerd. John has worked all of his life and run a business. He knows what it is like to make a family budget work. John is one of the most frugal people I know and I have no doubt that he will spend my tax dollars wisely. I am also confident that John will support the investment that Brainerd needs to make our city more desirable for families and businesses.

As a Brainerd resident and business owner I hope that John Magnuson joins the city council.
