We are what we eat

Statistics show that a man my age, 60, if he’s average, is taking some three different types of prescription drugs.  Along with that, he might be drinking alcohol and other things ... Viagra, cigarettes, Zoloft, Lipitor, who knows and they’re all legal.

Our kids are eating and drinking all kinds of chemicals like, corn syrup, msg, sugar additives, energy drinks with caffeine, all kinds of carbonated soda, etc. If they’re hyper, they may be put on Ritalin, Dexedrine, aderal, etc.  That’s not to mention Prozac, and steroids, and the list can go on.

Growth hormones can be traced in our meats and milk.  Insecticides are part of our crops and GMO’s.  Dyes are in almost everything.

There are traces of carcinogens in most of our major metro water supplies.

We exist in a drug induced cocktail mix of reality!

As long as we take this in in moderation, we’re OK, right? Granted, there’s good reason for the application of prescription drugs, but often the result is not necessarily good.  Alcohol and cigarettes are simply bad for you.

But, ingest some marijuana and you could be thrown in jail and there’s a lot of inmates in jail for that!  The court system is bogged down with thosecriminals. Although its usage is very pervasively prevalent, it’s a horror as a gateway drug, unlike alcohol!  We are our own worst enemy.

Lack of education is the root of most of our problems. There’s hardly any way to get around the fact that we ingest a lot of bad stuff, legally.

We are what we eat.
