Hunting partridge, not deer
I’m calling about the two people that wrote in about the bear traps in Tuesday’s paper. Either I read the original articles wrong or these two people did, but I was under the assumption that the dogs that got caught in the trap were out with their owners hunting, which is what hunting dogs are for — to go out with their owners to hunt — and in this case I think they were hunting partridge, not deer.
Don’t forget the older children
Not to take away from the thrill of the mother that’s adopting the little girl from Haiti, I just want folks to remember that there are plenty of children in the United States that need to have homes and I’m hoping that people will indeed reach out to those children. Some of them are a little bit older but they certainly need just as much love and attention as children of other ages too. So please don’t forget them.
