Beyond the intersection

I am surprised that the article about “annexation in Baxter” became a sudden issue? Why should this project be rushed? A portion of the property is currently in Baxter city limits with water and sewer already installed. The developer has to abide by Baxter’s policies. It was purchased in 2007. Plenty of time to raise these issues. Why is the county’s nose stuck in there? Why was the county not working with Baxter all along? What is being hidden here? Baxter’s future lies beyond this intersection.

St. Valentine believed in love

I’m not sure how many people know this and Valentine’s Day is coming up, so I just wanted to let people know. I believe back when ancient Rome was still around, they outlawed marriage at one point and there was this guy named St. Valentine who believed so much in two people being in love that he was marrying people in secret, illegally. I just think that’s beautiful and I don’t know how many people know that but they should.
