Better signage needed for clinic
The new urgent care building is hard to find. I urge anyone who thinks they might use it to take a dry run to locate it. If you wait until someone in your family is needing urgent care, they might die before you finally find it. Could there be better signage?
Chicks in the obituaries?
Grinding up baby chicks ought to be in the obituary column, not the third page.
Wah, wah, wah
Congratulations to the Brainerd hockey team for a fine season. Too bad it’s wah, wah, wah all the way home by your coach who cried in the paper about penalties and the refereeing. It’s called winning by playing within the rules, coach. Take some lessons.
Choosing quality entertainment
I agree with complaints about television. The commercials are way too long. The violence and sex is overwhelming. We have been reading books from our public library where one has the privilege of choosing the quality of entertainment we desire.
Amazed by Baxter City
I have a comment about Wednesday’s snowstorm. As I drove down Grand Oaks Drive in Baxter, I was amazed that Baxter City had made sure that the walking trail was plowed by 6:30 a.m. where Grand Oaks Drive was not plowed when there’s two assisted livings and one hospital down that road.
