Don’t dangle your angle worm

Be sure to get all the critters and weeds off your boat and drain all water. And buy only approved bait and keep your receipt for your boat. Oh yeah! And change the water on the bait. Throw any fish back if it’s too long or too short. Put that new invasive species sticker on your boat and trailer. Dig $5 deeper in your pocket for your license. Look over your shoulder always for fear of doing something that will get you a DNR ticket. If you are a fisherman you must be a criminal or at a minimum a shady character. What is it coming to?

Barking mad

I’m very upset with whoever is walking their dog through North Ninth Street and letting the dog do his No. 2 job in my yard, on my sidewalk, is very disrespectful. I work hard to keep my yard looking nice and if you have to let your dog do that, please go in your own yard or please pick up the stuff. That’s what you’re supposed to be doing. Or walk on the other side of the street. I’d appreciate it much.
