AREA BOYS BASKETBALL: Janson helps Pierz to first win


PIERZ - Caleb Janson recorded 19 points and nine rebounds as the Pierz Pioneers ran away from the Becker Bulldogs 69-38 in non-conference play Thursday.


Logan Meyer added 10 points while Preston Weber notched nine points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals during the Pioneers' first win of the season.
