Etterman took firsts on the uneven bars, balance beam and vault. Her score of 9.4 on the floor exercise tied Sartell's Mattie Bearson with the superior judge giving the tiebreaker to Bearson.

Lonie Anderson took fourth on bars and fifth in all-around and Claire Campbell was fourth on beam.

"Katy had a great meet ... we actually had a good meet considering we were missing some key players," said Brainerd coach Dave Maras. "We had a lot of younger girls compete varsity for the first time and that was good.

"I feel good about how we did. We know we have a lot left in the tank and the season is still young."
