Lightning strike big for 7-0 victory

WADENA — Kaylyn Eggena scored three goals and Erika Monson added two goals and an assist as the Northern Lakes Lightning skated to a 7-0 win over the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Wadena-Deer Creek Blue Devils in an outdoor Mid-State Conference game Tuesday.

Mariah Reed assisted on three goals and Alex Palm two while Katarina Jensen turned away all 21 shots that came her way in net for the Lightning.

Sarah Holm recorded 40 saves for the Blue Devils.
