Police blotter- Jan. 13
THEFTS - Gander Mountain, 14200 block of Edgewood Drive, Tuesday reported a theft.
A theft was reported Monday at 7200 block of Glory Road.
CRASHES - A minor crash with injuries was reported at 1:04 p.m. Tuesday at Elder Drive and Forthun Road. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported in a crash at 9:26 a.m. Tuesday at Highway 210 and Knollwood Drive.
Assisted a motorist with a vehicle in the ditch at 5:24 p.m. Monday at Wise Road and Dellwood Drive.
One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 2:54 p.m. Monday at Fairview Road and Inglewood Drive. Driver Kathleen Lasar, 67, Pillager, was taken to the hospital. The other driver, Angel Carlson, 23, Pillager, was not reported injured.
Received a report of a vehicle in the ditch about 1 p.m. Monday at Highway 210 and Golf Course Drive.
No injuries were reported in a crash at 12:11 p.m. Monday at Baxter Drive and Highway 210.
No injuries were reported in a crash at 11:24 a.m. Monday at Charles Street and Baxter Drive.
No injuries were reported in a crash at 9:44 a.m. Monday at Excelsior Road and Edgewood Drive.
Received a report of a vehicle in the ditch at 9:25 a.m. at Excelsior Road and Baxter Drive.
A driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9 a.m. Monday at Highway 210 and Golf Course Drive. Driver Samara Peterson, 39, Brainerd was taken to the hospital. The other driver, Kimberly Vahlsing, 41, Pequot Lakes, was not reported injured. Baxter Investigator David Timm was nearly struck by a motorist while directing traffic at the crash site.
FRAUD - Received a report Tuesday of a financial crime to obtain investment funds involving an address in Sebastopol, Calif.
ARRESTS - Arrested a 17-year-old female Wednesday after being dispatched to a report of a disturbance involving many people on the third floor of an apartment building at 1:25 a.m. on the 500 block of West College Drive. The juvenile female was intoxicated and later arrested for fourth-degree assault, obstruction of a legal process, underage consumption and disorderly conduct.
Arrested a 20-year-old man about 10:25 p.m. Tuesday on the 700 block of South Eighth Street after receiving a report of an assault. The man was arrested for fifth-degree assault, disorderly conduct and a second individual was cited for disorderly conduct.
Arrested a 41-year-old man about 9 p.m. Tuesday for disorderly conduct after responding to a verbal domestic dispute on the 500 block of Quince Street.
CRASH - No injuries were reported in a crash at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday as a driver hit a light pole at the intersection of L Street and Ninth Avenue Northeast.
FEUD - After living with a fiancee since October on Laurel Street and after a feud Tuesday, a caller wanted to know who had the rights to the apartment. The caller was advised it was a civil matter and neither person would be removed by officers. The caller agreed to stay elsewhere, adding a move out may be made the following day.
NOISE COMPLAINT - Received a noise complaint that snow removal equipment was too loud at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday from Laurel Street and East River Road. Officers checked the scene and did not find any snow removal going on but did note the sheriff's parking lot was freshly plowed. The caller's name was blackened out on the police report. The records office said it does that sometimes when a caller doesn't want to be recognized although state law doesn't allow for that specific exception.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Received a report Tuesday of a couple of teenagers hanging around a garage on N Street Northeast and running off when the motion light came on.
GAS LEAK - Police and the Brainerd Fire Department responded to a report of a natural gas smell at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday by Perkins on the 600 block of West Washington Street. The gas company was on the scene when firefighters arrived. The site was investigated and cleared at 4:25 p.m.
BURGLARY - Received a report of a burglary in progress at 1:19 p.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of Southeast 16th Street after a caller saw a male crawl through a window. The male reported he was locked out and officers confirmed his identity.
ASSAULT - Received a report of an assault at 9 a.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of Quince Street.

ARREST - Arrested a 41-year-old woman during a drug investigation.
THEFT - SuperAmerica in Garrison Tuesday reported an individual came in to pay for gas and left to retrieve a purse but never returned.
RECOVERED - Received a report Tuesday of an abandoned snowmobile off County Road 11 in Pelican Township.
FRAUD - Received a report of mail fraud Tuesday from Ebinger Road.
CRASH - Assisted the State Patrol with traffic control on a vehicle rollover at Highway 371 and Nokasippi at 2:12 p.m. Tuesday.
Assisted the State Patrol with a one vehicle rollover at 11:32 a.m. Tuesday at Business Highway 371 and the bypass.
Assisted the State Patrol with a vehicle in the ditch at Highway 371 by Crow Wing Power.
Assisted a motorist with a vehicle in the ditch at Highways 25 and 210.
No people injuries were reported in a car/deer collision reported at 8:23 a.m. Tuesday on Agate Lake Road, Deerwood.
Assisted a motorist with a vehicle in the ditch at 8:13 a.m. Tuesday at Highway 371 and Seagull.
Assisted with a motorist in the ditch at 5:07 a.m. Tuesday at County Road 11 and Lund Road, Pequot Lakes.
CRASH - Firefighters were called to a crash with injuries at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 10, performed an extrication and assisted North Ambulance. They cleared the scene at 11:30 a.m.
