Howard, Flying Warriors shut out Stars

LITTLE FALLS — Kierra Howard kicked away all 16 shots that she faced to earn her second straight shutout as the Brainerd/Little Falls Flying Warriors stayed undefeated in Central Lakes Conference play with a 6-0 victory over River Lakes. 

Sierra Hanowski notched two goals, and Sarah Sorensen had one goal and two assists to lead the Flying Warriors’ offense. 

“We had solid goaltending from Kierra tonight, and solid overall team play with good puck movement,” said Flying Warriors coach Rod Peltoma.

Brainerd/Little Falls entered the contest second in the CLC, one point behind Sartell/Sauk Rapids.
