GIRLS BASKETBALL: BHS ends 5-game losing streak

BEMIDJI - Emilee Branum scored 15 points, including 3 of 4 at the charity line in the closing minutes, as the Brainerd Warriors held off the Bemidji Lumberjacks for a 50-46 Central Lakes Conference win Thursday.

Jalynn Lamb notched 14 points and Kayla Kraemer 10 as the Warriors picked up their first win in six games.

"With about three minutes left they started double- and triple-teaming us," Warriors coach Brian McAllister said. "We kept our composure, and we finished. That's what we needed to do.
