HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Errors hinder Flyers in opener

ST. CLOUD — Seven infield errors proved costly for the Little Falls Flyers, who lost their season opener 9-7 to Central Lakes Conference foe St. Cloud Tech Thursday.

Josh Wenzel picked up three RBIs with a bases loaded double in the third.

Speaking about the seven errors, Little Falls coach John Hanowski said: “I know it’s early in the year, but we have a veteran club coming back. I expected a little more.”

Aaron Hallberg was tagged with the loss for the Flyers.
