TRACK and FIELD Flyer boys win, girls second

MELROSE — Luke Pennington won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles to lead the Little Falls Flyers boys to first place and Amber Hines won the shot and discus to help the girls to second Thursday at the Melrose Invite.


Manon Gammon-Deering won the 1600 and Chelsea Rutz the 3200 for the Flyer girls. The boys team picked up wins from its 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.

I then transfered up to Bemidji State University in, you guessed it, Bemidji, MN. In the spring of 2009, I graduated from BSU.
