TRACK AND FIELD: Tyner named men's MVP at Air Force ceremony

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. — Senior Justin Tyner of Brainerd was named the most valuable athlete of the men's program on Monday as the Air Force Academy track and field team honored its senior class. 

The senior co-captain claimed first-team All-America honors for the second straight year, after placing fifth in the 3000-meter run at the NCAA Indoor Championships. He also ran the anchor leg of the distance medley relay team that garnered second-team All-America honors.
