ST. CLOUD — Spencer Fenske hit a two-run, walk-off home run with one out in the bottom of the seventh giving the No. 2 Little Falls Flyers a 6-4 win over the third seeded Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder in East Subsection 6-2A semifinals.

Joey Hanowski recorded a home run, two doubles and scored three times including the Flyers’ game-tying run in the seventh. Mitch Dorn added a pair of doubles and two RBIs and was the base runner for the Flyers on Fenske’s game-winning shot.

HAWLEY — Jared Hoemberg went 3-4 with a double for the No. 5 Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders as they upset the No. 4 Hawley Nuggets in the North Subsection 6-1A quarterfinals.

Austin Selvey was 2-4 with a double and Nick Jasmer went 1-3 with three RBIs for the Raiders.

SEBEKA — Nathan Holm finished 2-3 with a double as the sixth-seeded Pine River-Backus Tigers were eliminated 2-0 by the No. 3 Sebeka Trojans  in Tuesday’s North Subsection 6-1A quarterfinals.

Darian Rubner and Tyler Burgoyne each collected hits for the Tigers, who had the bases loaded with one out in the fourth inning, but failed to manufacture a run.
