LEGION BASEBALL: Brainerd loses two to Bemidji

BEMIDJI — Bruce London turned in a strong performance at the plate, but it wasn’t enough as Brainerd dropped both games of a doubleheader, 5-4 and 10-2, to Bemidji for only their second and third losses of the season in Legion play Thursday.

In Game One, London was 2-4 with a double, triple and an RBI. Blake Thiesse also finished 2-4.

London belted a two-run home run in Game Two to account for Brainerd’s only runs. Dain Barrett added a double going1-3.
