GIRLS TENNIS: Pequot sweeps Pierz invite

PIERZ — The Pequot Lakes Patriots went unbeaten at three singles positions and in all three doubles spots as they opened the season Friday with two victories.

Kaycee Nelson, Haley Wiebolt and Jaden Lindner were all 2-0 in singles for Pequot and the doubles teams of Nicci Hedtke-Brittny Breitbach, Taylor Crocker-Ellie Heggerston and Eelle Erholtz-Lauren Bengtson were all 2-0.
