VOLLEYBALL: Mott, Palmer pace Patriots past C-I


CROSBY —  Rachel Mott put down 11 kills and Abby Palmer drilled nine more to lead the Pequot Lakes Patriots to a 3-0 win over the Crosby-Ironton Rangers in a Mid-State Conference match Thursday.

Palmer was also credited with 13 digs and three ace serves while Mattie Lueck registered 17 set assists.

Missy Foote blocked four shots and added 13 digs for C-I and Sienna Miller had eight kills for the Rangers.
