COLLEGE GOLF: CLC golfers qualify one for nationals

EAST GULL LAKE — Cory Cederberg will represent Central Lakes College in the NJCAA Division III National tournament.

Cederberg carded a 75 Tuesday for a two-day 152 to place second at the Region XII and MCAC state golf tournament at Cragun’s Legacy Courses.

The national tournament will begin June 5 at the Chautauqua Golf Course in New York.

Cederberg scored two strokes better than eventual medalist Ross Winters of Rochester.

CLC’s John Sund came in at 168 followed by Nate Richards (174), Taylor Wilke (204) and Morgan Quinn (224).

Katie Tast was the only female CLC golfer in the tournament. She shot a two-day 199.
